Responsibility Summary:

The Activities Aide assists in providing organized activities that are appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident, encourages their voluntary choice of activities and participation, and promotes and maintains a sense of usefulness to self and others. Prepares initial and quarterly assessments. Maintains attendance sheets. Assists with performance improvement surveys.

Education Minimum :

High school education or equivalent Certifications Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or become certified within 6 months of date of hire. BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. •Finger Lakes Health provides certification at no additional cost•

Experience Minimum:

Experience in long term care setting

Preferred:

Activities experience or CNA training

Salary Range:

$20.50-$25.00 based on years of experience.
