Certified Nurse’s Aide PRN Garvey Manor Nursing Home 1037 South Logan Boulevard, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse’s Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients with daily living activities. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care protocols, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient dignity and privacy. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide catheter care and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed. Support patients with mobility, including transferring and repositioning as needed. Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff. Help with feeding and hydration of patients, ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in urgent care situations by providing immediate support as directed by medical staff. Work effectively with individuals with disabilities, adapting care techniques as necessary. Engage with children when required, providing age-appropriate care and comfort. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand patient needs better.
