Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities In this role you will be: Providing basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Performing a variety of assigned tasks Identifying each patient’s age-specific needs and providing appropriate care as assigned Able to provide direct patient care to the med-surg patient Communicating with RN/GN staff to report changes in patients’ conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
EDUCATION
A high school graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 year med-surg and/or geriatric experience preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire Successful completion of approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred
