• Provides services as statedin each patient’s hospice care plan.
• Assist with activities ofdaily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, lighthousekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation andcompanionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range ofmotion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document theircondition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safehome environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate inactivities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, readingand hobbies.

A few must-haves for

Hospice CNA:

• High schooldiploma (or equivalent) and active CNA Certification in SouthCarolina
• 1 year of experience as a CNA
• Hospice experience
• CPRcertification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance andtransportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, goodcommunicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
