POSITIONSUMMARY
: Responsible for delivering person centered care based onthe needs and interests of residents and members while preservingtheir dignity and quality of life.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:
- Assistresidents with activities of daily living which include, but arenot limited to, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting,and transfers.
- Assists residents with dining to includeescorting, transferring, order taking, serving, feeding, mealpreparation, and clean up.
- Assist with housekeeping services,including but not limited to, bed making, trash removal, laundry,room and bathroom cleaning as needed, and requests from residents.
- Leads and assists with life enrichment activities with guidanceand support from Life Enrichment Leaders and Supervisors. Mayinclude, but is not limited to, activities, craft/game groups, lifeskills, daily pleasures, and one on one interaction.
- Escortresidents to scheduled programming. Could participate in outingsand/or day trips. Encourages daily participating in scheduledprogramming.
- Take and record vital signs and weights as orderedor required by regulations.
- Participates in and attends allin-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Otherduties as assigned.

The physicaldemands described here are representative of those that must be metby an employee to successfully perform the essential functions ofthis job.
- This position is very active and requires frequentstanding, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and climbing.
- Thisposition will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. andability to push up to 250 pounds independently.
- The individualmust use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their dailyliving.
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequentnight and weekend work.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected althoughoccasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuingeducation opportunities, emergency situations, and other companyfunctions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- StateCertification as a Nursing Assistant
- Certification in CPR, AED,and First Aid
- Two years’ experience in a similar healthcareposition preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctualitystandards.
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneoussoftware and office equipment.
- Ability to understand and followdirections as given.
- Ability to work with minimalsupervision.
