- Able to read and write Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outsideof their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain aquality care environment for our residents. As part of ateam-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate intraining opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff inneed. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:
- Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet theresident’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritualneeds with respect and dignity
- This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perinealcare, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
- Assist residents with meals and snacks
- Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
- Housekeeping duties as necessary
