Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Home Health Aides (HHAs) Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)

Companion Caregivers Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting) Provide companionship and emotional support Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders Monitor client health and communicate changes to the care team Follow individualized care plans and maintain documentation Provide ongoing emotional support and engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and mentally stimulating activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid CNA, HHA, or PCA certification (where applicable) Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Clear background check and eligible to work in the U.S. Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor Why Work With Emory Care at Home?
