The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality care and services to our residents, while adhering to all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staff management, resident care, financial management, and facility upkeep. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including state licensure, Medicare, and Medicaid. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the highest possible quality of care and life for our residents. Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of qualified staff. Prepare and manage the facility’s budget, ensuring financial stability and efficiency. Facilitate communication and collaboration among medical staff, department heads, and administrative personnel. Address and resolve any issues related to staff performance, resident care, and facility management. Conduct regular meetings with staff and residents’ families to discuss care plans and address concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. Current and valid Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Connecticut. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nursing Home Administrator. Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Compassionate and ethical approach to nursing home administration.
