Full Job Description Job Summary :
The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management and operations of our community. As a key leader, the Executive Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, oversee financial performance, build strong relationships with residents and their families, and lead a dedicated team of staff members. The Executive Director will also play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic leadership and vision to ensure the success and growth of the senior living/assisted living community. 2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the community’s operations, including staff management, resident care, finance, marketing, and community engagement. 3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and staff, fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and exceptional customer service. 4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including licensing requirements, health and safety protocols, and resident rights. 5. Monitor and maintain the financial health of the community, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation. 6. Implement and uphold quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of care and resident satisfaction. 7. Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive occupancy and maintain a vibrant and diverse community. 8. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, providing ongoing coaching, support, and professional development opportunities. 9. Collaborate with medical professionals, service providers, and community organizations to enhance resident well-being and engagement. 10. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging research in senior living and assisted living, implementing innovative ideas and approaches as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, geriatrics, business management, or a related field Previous experience in a senior leadership role within the senior living/assisted living industry. Strong knowledge of regulations and licensing requirements governing senior living/assisted living communities. Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue generation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and find effective solutions. Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of older adults. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards. Familiarity with marketing and sales strategies in the senior living/assisted living industry is a plus.
