Position Summary:
The Housing Operations Administrator is a detail-oriented and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or equivalent work experience in hotel sales . The role plays a key part in the coordination and management of hotel data, rooming lists, and conference logistics
Key Responsibilities:
Build hotels and conference profiles in ABTSolute, ensuring all relevant data is accurately entered and organized. Assist Procurement Managers for special bookings and creating hotel packages Upload rooming list changes, request additional inventory, and track confirmations from hotels. Collaborate with Housing Directors to build and manage Hotel Information Sheets—ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date Cross-check internal conference documents to ensure the most favorable breakfast and billing arrangements are in place. Support the procurement team with special booking projects, including managing hotel contracts and liaising with hotel representatives as needed. Participate in weekly and bi-weekly team calls, providing recaps and ensuring action items are documented. Maintain conference folders and ensure all documentation is properly filed and accessible. Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or equivalent work experience in hotel sales
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with databases and tracking systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hotel contracts or rooming list processes is a plus.
