Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership :
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the facility in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Program Oversight :
Guide the development and execution of facility programs and activities aligned with governing body directives.
Quality Assurance :
Work alongside the Director of Nursing and department heads to identify, monitor, and improve key performance indicators through systems like QAPI.
Performance Management :
Analyze outcomes and develop leadership responses, including staff re-education or process adjustments to maintain regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Financial Management :
Partner with the Business Office Manager to create and maintain systems that ensure fiscal health.
Census and Occupancy Strategy :
Develop and execute strategies that drive census growth and enhance financial stability.
Public Representation :
Serve as the spokesperson for the facility, delivering clear, confident messages to stakeholders with diverse backgrounds.
Team Leadership :
Lead and facilitate regular management meetings focused on census, collections, clinical health, survey readiness, customer service, and more.
Qualifications:
Valid, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator’s License in the state (Required) Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration (Preferred) Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility (Required) In-depth knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations, compliance procedures, and long-term care guidelines (Must hit the ground running)
