The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a heart for the geriatric population and a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and compassionate care.

Position Overview:

As the Health and Wellness Director, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of our Assisted Living community. You will lead, train, and develop a team of caregivers and nurses to ensure residents receive person-centered care that reflects dignity, safety, and respect. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and administrative skills, as well as a thorough understanding of Florida’s Assisted Living Facility (ALF) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Health and Wellness team, ensuring high standards of resident care and staff accountability. Train, mentor, and develop caregivers into exceptional professionals dedicated to serving the geriatric population. Effectively manage all aspects of Assisted Living operations related to residents, staff, families, visitors, and the public. Make timely and accurate administrative decisions in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment. Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry best practices; strong knowledge of ALF regulation is essential. Foster effective, compassionate communication with residents, families, team members, and guests. Navigate and resolve conflicts among staff, residents, and families with diplomacy and care. Perform job duties in a manner that supports resident well-being and meets the operational needs of the community.

Qualifications:

CORE Trained preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or related healthcare environment. Licensed Therapist will also be a preferred candidate. Proven ability to train, develop, and motivate a care team. Strong knowledge of Florida ALF regulations and standards of practice. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Passion for serving seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
