The Executive Director is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing all facets of community operations in adherence to the guidelines of Prema at Suwanee Creek LLC (“Prema”) Policies & Procedures and in accordance with the Department of Community Health’s regulations for the care, oversight, and welfare of all residents. This role aims to achieve high customer satisfaction and favorable financial outcomes. The Executive Director provides leadership and inspiration to employees to ensure top-notch care and services are delivered to residents while fostering a high level of employee contentment. You will report to the Prema Ownership team.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of management experience in long-term care are preferred.
- Should be aware of federal and state laws related to assisted living.
- Must possess robust leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen is essential.
- Capable of interacting and building relationships with older adults. A genuine desire to work with the elderly is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a satisfactory criminal history and fingerprint check.
- A physical examination conducted by a licensed doctor is required. Must test negative in a drug screening.
- Capable of responding promptly in an emergency situation.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Plan, implement, and oversee all aspects of community operations in compliance with Prema Policies & Procedures and the Department of Community Health’s regulations.
- Conduct regular management meetings to keep all departments updated on community-related issues.
- Carry out multiple daily walkthrough inspections of the building and grounds to ensure a favorable first impression and engage with residents, staff, and visitors to promote satisfaction.
- Maintain high occupancy levels. Assist in marketing the facility, establishing relationships with local referral sources, coordinating with the Community Relations Director on marketing plans, meeting sales goals, and keeping track of impending move-ins and move-outs. Participate in lease signings.
- Make final decisions on resident move-ins and move-outs based on the well-being of the resident, in line with Prema policies & procedures, and in compliance with state regulations.
- Review all communication tools used in resident care. Ensure all paperwork for resident care is completed and up-to-date. Confirm that resident assessments align with the billing spreadsheet.
- Keep resident files up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Operate the facility within the Annual Budget set by the owners.
- Assume on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis and delegate on-call responsibilities to other qualified directors. Be available round-the-clock for emergencies and community needs.
- Manage the labor force to stay within the operating budget as tied to census and acuity. Monitor labor hours and overtime to ensure accurate bi-weekly timesheets for payroll.
- Ensure all weekly and monthly documents are sent to the Home Office promptly, including accounts receivables, billing sheets, payroll reports, timesheets, incident reports, and other required or requested reports.
- Act as a first responder in emergencies if present on-site.
- Maintain confidentiality of all personal or health-related information concerning residents and staff.
- Hold a valid CPR & First Aid certification.
- Carry out any other duties assigned, which relate to the success of Prema and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.
- Other primary responsibilities are required for this role as requested by the Director of Operations and Ownership team.
- Provide quality care and assistance to residents following the Prema philosophy of Person-Centered Lifestyle and respecting resident rights.
Physical Job Demands and Requirements:
- Assist in the transfer of residents, adhering to proper body mechanics and safety measures.
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently kneel, bend, and reach.
- Sit for up to two hours a day.
- Frequently support up to 70 pounds.
