LNHA (Nursing Home Administrator) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 41 N Fifth St, Glenwood, GA 30428 Position Summary We are seeking a caring, strategic, and detail-oriented Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee the daily operations of our facility. As the LNHA, you will uphold state regulations, ensure top-tier resident care, and drive a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Administration Manage all aspects of the facility’s daily operations in compliance with Georgia and federal regulations. Recruit, develop, and supervise department heads—nursing, therapy, dietary, activities, housekeeping, and maintenance. Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure smooth, coordinated care. Regulatory & Quality Assurance Maintain full compliance with CMS, FDA, OSHA, and Georgia Department of Community Health standards. Coordinate resident assessments, Plan of Care reviews, and MDS (Minimum Data Set) submissions. Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical and operational outcomes. Financial Management Develop and oversee the annual budget: monitor expenses, control costs, optimize revenue cycle and census. Generate timely financial reports and participate in fiscal planning meetings. Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising care quality. Resident & Family Experience Promote a resident-centered culture emphasizing dignity, safety, and engagement. Serve as primary liaison to families—addressing concerns, facilitating communication, overseeing satisfaction. Encourage and oversee meaningful activities and involvement opportunities for residents. Risk Management & Safety Ensure a safe, secure environment free from hazards; oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions. Administer emergency preparedness and disaster plans, coordinating drills and staff training. Manage compliance with infection control practices and oversight of environmental safety.

Qualifications Required:

Active LNHA license in the State of Georgia. Minimum of 3-5 years in long-term care leadership (Administrator or Assistant Administrator preferred). Strong knowledge of federal/state regulations and LTC reimbursement mechanisms (Medicare, Medicaid, private pay). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or related field. Experience with electronic health record systems, MDS software, and survey readiness programs.
