Provide addiction counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral health needs and develop comprehensive care strategies. Assist clients in navigating Section 8 housing options and other social services available to them. Support childcare initiatives and advocate for child welfare within the community. Engage in workforce development programs aimed at empowering clients through job training and placement services. Implement crisis intervention strategies to address immediate client needs and ensure safety. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate level of care for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and care interventions in compliance with organizational policies. Experience A background in social work or a related field is preferred, with experience in supervising teams or programs being highly beneficial. Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health practices is essential. Experience working with Section 8 housing programs, childcare services, or child welfare systems is a plus. Proven ability in crisis management and intervention strategies is necessary for this role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively interact with clients, families, and community resources.
