Summary Supported Independent Living is a home where an individual lives on their own but needs staff support part-time. Some individuals may need support on a daily basis and others may need support a few times per week. Currently, CLA supports Independent Living homes. These homes are located in Houlton. CLA has an opening for a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Home Manager. The SIL Home Manager will report to the Director of Residential Services. The person in this role will provide supervision, support, and oversight for the SIL Homes and DSP Workers. This position is 36 hours each week. The SIL Home Manager will provide management of Home Support Services to the consumers of up to four SIL homes. This person will also provide direct support to individuals. They will keep records of persons served with up-to-date information, inform staff of medical and program changes, and maintain up to four weeks of schedules. The SIL Home Manager will review completed monthly summaries, make necessary program expansions, and notify staff of any changes. This person will work closely with consumers, case managers, and guardians. This is a full-time position and includes CLA’s Benefits Package.
