We are a 304-bed, Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility founded in 1974 in continuation of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s legacy of serving those in need through works of healing, teaching, caring and giving. We are seeking to hire an Assistant Administrator – Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. $160K to $185K annually based on skills and experience. Assistant Administrator Qualifications. Active NY Nursing Home Administrator License. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Long-Term Care. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
Assistant Administrator Job Summary:
In cooperation with the CEO/Administrator, develop, implement, direct and assess objectives and goals for the Cabrini of Westchester senior care community. In cooperation with the CEO/Administrator, participate in selection and review of administrative and management staff. Participate in business development and marketing efforts. Stay abreast of current regulations to maintain survey and inspection readiness. In cooperation with the CEO/Administrator, develop and update Emergency Preparedness Plan. Review resident complaints and grievances, accidents and incident reports. Assist in preparation of annual operating budget. Make regulary scheduled visits to every department to assist department managers in proper maintenance and operation of their areas. Serve as liaison for the CEO/Administrator to medical and support staff, residents and families on all necessary communications, policies and procedures interpretations, etc. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
