The Pointe at Kirby Gate Senior Living Community is seekingan Executive Director.

This role will supervise the overall day today operation of the property to ensure the highest qualityoperation in accordance with standard and resident satisfaction; aswell as being responsible to supervise all property staff andreports to the Regional Director ofOperations.

Responsibilities:

Acts as a hands-on leader who supervises, directs, andmotivates community staff; provides assistance as needed. Encourages teamwork and collaboration and cultivates aninclusive community culture. Ensures community maintainsappropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents and inaccordance with applicable legal requirements. Manages budget and cash flow, maintains budget accountabilityaggressively anticipates and minimizes negative budget variancesand deficits. Hires, trains, disciplines, and terminates managerial employeesin accordance with our human resources policy. Maintains all local, state, and federal licenses. Maintains superior training for staff, ensuring that trainingprograms are effectively executed. Creates an environment for pride and quality among all staff,encouraging them to their highest potential. Ensures that buildings, grounds, and property are maintained atthe highest standard of excellence through preventative maintenancesystems and programs. Maintains resident retention by working with residents andtheir families, dealing with any issues that arise. Keeps up to date with information about competitors. Become an intricate part of the community in social and civicaffairs by representing the property in local, state andprofessional organizations. Participates on the Manager on Duty program. Attends all required training, in-service, and staffmeetings. Strives to maintain a safe working environment through theprevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and theachievement of safe working practices. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towardresidents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements 3+ years of experience as an Executive Director for a SeniorLiving Community required. Assisted Living Administrators License in the state ofTennessee required. Experience in Assisted Living and/or Memory CareCommunity. Training or experience in gerontology and/or hospitality isvaluable. Proven success growing a community census & a track record ofmaintaining high occupancy. A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
