Assisted Living Manager 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 13 Greenway Drive, Vernon, VT 05354 Job Summary Vernon Hall Assisted Living is looking for a compassionate Manager to be responsible for matters related to resident health services and facility operations at Vernon Hall that require decision, attention, correction or eventual referral to the Executive Director. Monday-Friday 8 am – 4 pm , on-call during as needed Responsibilities Adherence to policy by residents and staff, recommendations to the Executive Director on policy, resident affairs, equipment needs or building structure problems and improvements. Oversees and serves as part of the selection team in the review process for potential residents. Oversees the activities of the Administrative Assistant, ensuring that his/her duties are satisfactorily completed. Communicates with him/her on matters concerning resident issues, including billing charges. Oversees the activities of the Service Coordinator, ensuring that his/her duties are satisfactorily completed. Communicates and instructs the Service Coordinator on matters concerning resident issues. Assists the Service Coordinator in monitoring the health status and functioning of residents and keeping a log of chronic or acute health problems that arise. Oversees selection, training and scheduling of the Resident Attendants and ensuring that their duties are satisfactorily completed. Oversees the transportation personnel in residents’ transportation to town on the weekly shopping trip, to local medical appointments, and to other destinations as time allows. Oversees that assistance is being provided as needed to the dietary staff in serving residents with meals and drinks at meals. Skills Experience in assisted living, home care, or long-term care settings Knowledge of resident rights and care plans Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to work effectively in a team environment Basic understanding of nursing principles is a plus Familiarity with operations management in a retirement home is advantageous Ability to complete Manager course designated by the State of Vermont Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents!

$60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
