Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Brevard Nursing Academy is searching for licensed nurses with a desire to utilize their knowledge, skills, and experience in the classroom. We are a small institution that holds quality over quantity. Class size is limited to improve teacher-student relations. This rewarding position is for a nurse who wants to share their knowledge and experience with the next generation of Licensed Practical Nurses. Interested persons must have a clear and active Florida RN license. A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience. Prior teaching or training experience is a plus. Skilled Nursing Facility experience is welcomed. A Practical Nursing Instructor would be responsible for teaching nursing students in a classroom and clinical setting. The instructor would review plans, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback on their progress. They would also work with other faculty members to ensure that the nursing program meets CIE standards and prepares students for licensure exams. The instructor would need to have a current nursing license, as well as relevant experience and knowledge of nursing theory and clinical practice. Strong communication and organizational skills are also essential for success in this role.
