Position Overview:
The Nursing Instructor will be responsible for teaching Fundamentals of Nursing and Anatomy to students enrolled in our nursing programs. This role requires a dynamic educator with clinical experience and a strong foundation in the nursing sciences. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, student-focused, and committed to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in Fundamentals of Nursing and Anatomy . Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and state requirements. Evaluate and assess student performance and provide timely feedback. Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and professional development. Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance, grading, and progress reports. Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and ongoing training initiatives. Stay current with the latest developments in nursing education and healthcare practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required. Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience . Previous teaching or training experience preferred, but not required Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to student success and academic integrity.
