What we’re looking for: ATA College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Instructor to join our team. This position involves providing hands-on clinical training, facilitating learning experiences in healthcare settings, and evaluating students’ performance in accordance with established curriculum standards and clinical objectives. The incumbent will collaborate closely with faculty members to ensure alignment between classroom instruction and clinical practice, fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and professional development among students. Additionally, the Nursing Clinical Instructor will maintain effective communication with healthcare facility staff, preceptors, and other stakeholders to coordinate clinical placements and enhance the overall learning experience. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in nursing education. Job Requirements

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse License

  • Four (4) years of verifiable direct patient care nursing experience

  • A Bachelor’s in nursing degree from an accredited college or university or better

  • Knowledgeable in Skills in Adult Beginning Nursing

  • Experience as a clinical instructor is highly preferred, but will train the right individual Knowledge in online learning systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.

) helpful but not required Competent in personal computer applications: Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel Excellent written and oral communication skills and analytical skills Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening, required immunizations, and current BLS card Some of the great work you’ll do includes: Relate clinical experience to class content by effectively communicating with didactic instructor on weekly basis. Enter student attendance daily and grades in a timely manner. Submit end of quarter paperwork to Nursing administration upon completion of the course. Implement and adhere to all school’s policies and regulations, as well as the clinical site. Assess student performance during clinical experiences using appropriate evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback for growth. Demonstrate effective clinical skills according to evidence-based practices. Serve as a professional role model for students and foster a positive and professional learning environment that respects diversity, equity, and inclusion.
