Job Description

Under general supervision, the Nurse Aide Instructor will provide theoretical and clinical instruction to both college and high school students in the Nurse Aide Program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Provides instruction to students in nurse aide and allied health core courses. Prepares lesson plans, evaluate students progress, and maintains program certifications as needed. Demonstrates knowledge of current in-field procedures. The Nurse Aide Instructor will report directly to the Dean of Allied Health and Professional Services. Position may involve day and evening hours and may require travel to other campus locationsKnowledge of the mission of postsecondary vocational/technical education. Knowledge of college purchasing policies and procedures. Knowledge of academic course standards, faculty credential requirements. Decision-making and problem solving skills. Operation of computers and job-related software. Skill in interpersonal relations and dealing with the public
