We currently have a very successful school in another state and are very excited about our new location in Chapel Hill. This position requires a background that includes some experience working in long-term care, excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and coordinating the school in Chapel Hill. He/she will work alongside the owner as the school grows and community education programs are offered. We are committed to helping each individual student succeed and take an interest in his/her career goals. We are committed to adapting to different learning styles and helping students successfully pass the CNA exam. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on training sessions Facilitate student learning through interactive discussions, simulations, and practical exercises. Assess student performance through evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Support students in the skills lab and clinical placements, ensuring they are well prepared to take the North Carolina CNA exam. Assign other instructors as the school grows Work with community partners who are hiring CNAs. Experience BSN with a minimum of five years experience as a Registered Nurse Proven leadership experience as a supervisor Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence Previous teaching experience is highly desirable. Ability to effectively communicate concepts to diverse student populations. CPR instructor certification is a plus, but not required.
