Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of no more than 8 students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency in the psych-mental health setting. This position is 2 days a week (15 hours) for 8 weeks (typically Tuesdays/Wednesdays 7a-3p). Days/times may be negotiable depending on instructor/site availability.
The timeframe is August 27-October 8, 2025 OR October 15-December 19, 2025

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
The compensation rate is $800-$950 per contact hour [or $47.95 – $59.45 [per clinical rate per hour if applicable]. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
Education:
Candidates must meet one of the following options:
1. Master’s degree in Nursing
2. BS in Nursing, with a Master’s degree in public health, health care administration, health promotion, or another health-related field.
3. BS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program.
4. BS in Nursing
5. AS in Nursing and work at New Hampshire Hospital
Experience:
At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
Licensure:
Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state.
