Position Description
Position Summary The Department of Nursing in the School of Science, Engineering and Health at Messiah University invites applications for the position of Clinical Adjunct Instructor in Nursing.
Responsibilities Responsible for teaching undergraduate clinical nursing courses in the obstetrics, pediatric critical care, adult critical care, and psychiatric/mental health specialties.
Qualifications Applicants must have a graduate degree in nursing (e.g. MS, MSN, DNP, PhD) or a BSN and be enrolled in a graduate nursing program with a plan to complete in 5 years of hire. Current relevant clinical experience is also required. Clinical certifications are highly valued but not required. Must have a current, valid professional nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania or a relevant multi-state license.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, the master’s degree program in nursing, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Messiah University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The Department Simulation laboratories include advanced simulation with medium and high-fidelity human simulators. Students also have opportunities for cross-cultural experiences, and intercultural competency development is encouraged. Compensation Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
