Lead Instructor (On-Site) Casa Loma College – Nursing Program Faculty Opportunities Now Hiring for Our Newest Program Launching in Nashville, Tennessee! Casa Loma College is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our newest Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (ASN) Program in Nashville, Tennessee! We are seeking dedicated and experienced nursing professionals to join our dynamic team. Be part of this exciting new chapter in our college’s growth and help shape the future of healthcare by mentoring and guiding the next generation of nurses. The Lead Nursing Instructor to support student learning in both classroom and clinical settings. This role involves teaching assigned courses, mentoring faculty, preparing lesson plans, and evaluating student progress. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching skills and a commitment to nursing education.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruct and evaluate students in all areas of the ASN program, including classroom, lab, and clinical settings. Mentor and guide faculty assisting with instruction to ensure consistency and quality across assigned courses. Develop and revise course content , objectives, and teaching strategies in collaboration with other faculty. Monitor student progress , provide academic advising, and make recommendations regarding student retention or readmission. Maintain professional competence through continued education, clinical practice, and active participation in program assessment and improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred). Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience. Demonstrated teaching abilities in classroom, online, laboratory, and clinical settings. Experience using innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance clinical education. Demonstrates effective teaching skills across various settings and uses innovative, technology-based methods.
Requirements:
Current, unencumbered RN license with the ability to practice in Tennessee. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation.
