LPN Unit ManagerThe Quality Center for Rehabilitation andHealing is looking to hire a LPN Unit Manager to join theirteam.
Job Description:
Perform administrative duties such ascompleting medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting,etc., as necessaryDay to Day Supervision of Licensed andNon-Licensed staff, including counseling/disciplinary action,evaluations, one-to-one in service, suspension/terminationsMaintainan ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unitDevelopmethods for coordination of nursing services with other residentservices to ensure the continuity of the residents total regimen ofcareMust possess the ability to make independent decisions whencircumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to dealtactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors,government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
Must beknowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, aswell as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-termcare.
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and thewillingness to work harmoniously with and supervise otherpersonnel.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must have a current LPNlicense for the state of practice.2 years of experience as asupervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other relatedhealth care facility preferredCompletion of post-secondaryeducation and be able to read, write, and follow oral and writtendirections.
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance asrequires.
Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish thisposition.
Must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule to includeevenings, nights and weekend work hours.
