Qualifications andrequirements Applicants should have a current state RN license.

Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification

ACLS/PALS

is required within six months of hire. One year ofexperience preferred What you will do Supervises and mentorsnursing and support staff during assigned shift. Determinesstaffing level and assignments based on staff availability, staffabilities, census, patient acuity and work/patient flow. Providesdirect patient care as needed. Floats between staff to assist withproblem-solving. May take patient assignments to meet staffingneeds. Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifiesany issues that affect desired patient outcomes. Responds tocomplaints about patient care and related services, and managesthrough established channels. Performs role-specific duties asassigned, including entering orders, performing admissions ordischarges, and coordinating transfers. Ensures staff has necessaryequipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.

Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinicalprotocols. Creates and fosters an environment that encouragesprofessional growth.
