This position is responsible for assisting the graduate department chair with securing and managing clinical placements of graduate students and ensuring that placements meet educational requirements and regulatory standards. This role involves communication with clinical partners, faculty, staff, and students. It also includes maintaining documentation and records related to clinical placement, as well as tracking experiential learning and certification rates. Additionally, this position assists faculty and administration with verification of preceptor credentials and ensures student are compliant and approved to start clinical courses.
Essential Job Duties
Develop and maintain relationships with clinical affiliates and educational institution; Coordinate clinical placements for ACONHP graduate students in collaboration with additional staff; Address any issues or concerns related to clinical placement in a timely manner and communicate with the department chair; Maintain accurate records and documentation related to clinical placement and compliance; Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and clinical affiliate representatives; Provide support and guidance to students and faculty regarding clinical placement and compliance; Assist in the development of new clinical placement opportunities.; Distribute and prepare reports related to end-of-semester clinical site surveys; Manage and distribute evaluation tools at the end of each semester to clinical preceptors for the purpose of student evaluation; Prepare reports on clinical placements, compliance status, and clinical program effectiveness; Maintain current records of student clinical practicum experiences and prepare reports as requested by faculty and administration; Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information; In collaboration with clinical course faculty, verify completion of required clinical hours; Collaborate with faculty and administration regarding clinical deficiencies, clinical clearance, clinical progression, and clinical placement of students; Track pass rates for nurse practitioner national certification exams and experiential learning activities; Maintain policies and procedures specific to each clinical site; Continually seek potential “new” clinical locations; Participate in On-Campus Intensive, holding training sessions for students; Meet monthly with supervisor to discuss graduate students’ statuses regarding placement, health documents, and new programs; Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Completion of a bachelor’s degree is required; Three years of related experience is preferred.

Ability to organize, communicate, document, disperse, and implement agency contracts, clinical preceptor information packets; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, data management systems, and current campus technologies and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and technology solutions; Proficiency in verbal, written, and electronic communication; Ability to work independently without direct supervision; Excellent organization skills; Knowledge of accreditation and regulator standards; Strong public relations and interpersonal skills; Ability to interact effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, vendors, contractors, clinicians, and the general public.
