POSITION SUMMARY
Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients, families, and staff throughout the continuum to include patient, family, and staff education. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Graduate from a school of nursing Minimum Experience 1 year of Med/ Surg experience Required Registration/License/Certification Alabama Board of Nursing License ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of hire date BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date Preferred Education BSN Preferred Experience 2 years of Med/ Surg experience Preferred Registration/License/Certification 2 years of Med/ Surg experience Other Requirements Must enroll and complete 1 leadership development course through EAMC yearly.
