Position Overview:

The Clinical ManagerHospice works under the direction and guidance of the BranchAdministrator to provide supervision of all clinical staff workingwith high medical acuity clients and/or clients receiving extendednon?licensed support services. This leader is responsible toprovide staff orientation and ensure competence as a Preceptor andor ensure RN Case Manager/Preceptor resources are in place. Ensuresthat services are delivered according to licensing guidelines,professional medical standards and agency policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Plans, develops, and manages theclinical programs, services, activities, and employees of theagency consistent with company policy and regional managementdirectives.
• Assists with the oversight of the agency’s growthrelated to home care.
• Serves as the clinical expert and assistswith the operational and financial management of the agency.
• Investigate and take appropriate actions on client/consumercomplaints.
• Participate in the recruiting, hiring, andidentifying the training needs of clinical staff
• Evaluatesprograms and services regularly to identify opportunities forimprovement.
• Conducts regular client home visits to ensurequality of care and performs home visits as needed.
• Ensuresclient compliance with federal/state regulations through policy andprocedure administration to staff.
• Supervises all clinical staff(RN/LPN/CNA) and perform annual employee evaluations for allclinical staff.
• Responsible for overseeing case management toensure services that are financially sound.
• Manage caseload asneeded for client coverage

• Registered Nurse licensure in thestate of practice.
• Obtain and maintain active CPR per agencypolicy.

Preferred:

• 3 years RN experience in a healthcare setting(home health or hospice)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• MedicareSkilled Nursing experience and a basic understanding of OASIS HHHAs an employer accepting Medicare and Medicaid funds, employeesmust comply with all health-related requirements in all relevantjurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subjectto exemptions for medical or religious reasons as appropriate.
