Nursing Full Job Description Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN Charge Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. Under the direction of the unit Manager , Assistant Director of nursing or Director of Nursing Services, responsible for supervision of assigned staff and providing quality nursing care to residents to maintain or attain the highest level of care. The LPN Nurse will assess patients’ health needs, help develop and implement care plans, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to Facility quality assessment and improvement initiatives. Develops and updates instant and comprehensive Care Plans as needed. Transcribes, clarifies, and implements physician’s order. Administers and monitors residents medications and treatments per physician’s orders Maintains accurate medications administration records and treatment administration records. Verifies medication cart is secure and clean. Secures narcotics per Facility policy and state regulations. Communicates status of residents to incoming licensed personnel according to established procedures vat shift change. Document patients’ progress and outcomes using electronic medical records Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Nursing Current state license as a LPN Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
