Full Job Description As a Charge Nurse with our facility, you may perform a variety of duties that provide optimal patient care to our residents. Typical job duties and tasks of a LPN include: Complete full nursing assessments on residents Administering medication to residents as prescribed by their physicians Completing resident care tasks such as IV line care, trach care, etc. Taking a resident’s temperature, blood pressure, and other vital statistics Observing the resident for changes in their health, mood, and behavior, and subsequently reporting any concerns to a Unit Manager or the Physician on duty Preparing residents for their care, describing procedures ordered by their physicians, and listening to any concerns or grievances they have Providing residents with immunizations Working with and mentoring CNAs/NAs to provide optimal care to our residents
