Job SummaryWe areseeking a dedicated RN Manager PreOp PACU to join our team atMemorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodforest. This role plays acrucial part in ensuring seamless surgical and patient careoperations. The ideal candidate is passionate about deliveringhigh-quality care, has a strong attention to detail, and thrives ina collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities Identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support thebusiness of the department taking into account business trends,resource availability and changes in customers Establishes effective working relationships with allconstituencies including patients, physicians, employees,volunteers and vendors. Identifies and remedies through continuous customersatisfaction data and employee involvement. Works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals. Oversees surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processingservices.
Skills Required Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correcterrors. Ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendorsand the public. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness,receptive to change, creativity and innovative. Excellent communication skills Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge baserelative to surgery procedures and management of the surgicalpatient Understands principles of aseptic technique and theirimplementation Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics Excellent teaching skills Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideologyExperienceRequired Current TX Nursing License Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital settingWhy Join Us?
