JOB TITLE
NURSE MANAGER
Additional Information:
12 mos Full time position, minimum of BSN or ADN with commensurate experience required, current multi-state license or obtainment required, Pediatric/School Nurse experience preferred, aptitude for teaching and basic computer skills required
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing with equivalent experience.
2. A Multistate Registered Nurse License or willingness to obtain one is required.
3. Experience in school nursing and/or pediatrics is preferred.
4. Capable of understanding complex materials and communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
5. Proficient in teaching and collaborating effectively in a team environment.
6. Proficient in basic computer skills, such as word processing, creating presentations, and using spreadsheets.
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

MANAGES:
Nurses employed or contracted by Shelby County Schools
JOB GOAL
To provide administrative, managerial, and nursing support to the
Nurse Supervisor in the coordination and deliverance of the health services provided to students system-wide.
