3 -11 RN Evening Supervisor Saint John Paul II Danbury, CT Job Details Full-time $43 – $53 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications RN License Mid-level 2 years Full Job Description Check daily staffing and make sure all assignments are prepared To ensure the staff of the facility is providing the highest level of nursing care to our residents. Evaluates care and ensures resident satisfaction. Oversees the nursing department daily staffing requirements. Orients clinical staff to their job responsibilities. Provides leadership in clinical problem solving. Evaluates Dietary staff on timeliness of meals. Evaluates Housekeeping on their duties while they are without their direct Supervisor. Report any Maintenance emergencies to the Maintenance Director. Non-emergency maintenance issues can be reported via the 24 hr report sheet. To connect between nursing staff and nursing management in different shifts, and create the spirit of collaboration between them. To follow up the department daily duties. Complete room rounds periodically throughout shift to ensure resident satisfaction, nursing care completion, & environmental and infection control issues are addressed. To maintain the general safety regulations for residents and staff. To encourage some of the nursing staff to participate in managing department work by delegating some duties and responsibilities. To assist and direct nursing staff for doctors’ rounds by preparing charts and other requirements. To supervise the process of medical and non-medical supplies through preparing supplies request. To keep an up-to-date list of all resident specific rented equipment. To report important events that happened in the department to the Director of Nursing and to the Administrator. Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations. To execute any other duties assigned from nursing administrative within his/her specialty.
