The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices across various specialties, including pediatrics, medical-surgical, and occupational health. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care. Conduct utilization reviews to assess the quality and efficiency of care provided. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Oversee case management processes, ensuring that patients receive appropriate services. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Epic. Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on best practices, including spinal tap procedures and toddler care. Monitor compliance with healthcare policies and procedures, addressing any issues as they arise. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Experience Current nursing license with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks and Epic. Experience in utilization review, case management, and various nursing specialties including pediatrics and medical-surgical is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
