Job Summary and Qualifications Directs and manages the operations and activities of the Behavioral Health Services Department. Responsible for the overall management of the department’s daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by upper management. The Department Director assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures, for managing supplies and equipment on the unit, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management.

What qualifications you will need:

Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Masters Degree from an accredited School of Nursing Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Other-Fingerprint Required Minimum 3 years clinical Behavioral Health nursing experience in an acute care setting Minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in Behavioral Health Founded in 1974, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care hospital.
