Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager in our Women’s OB unit at Baptist Medical Center

  This position is in our Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Clay Baptist Clay is a Magnet™ designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing nursing care patients on the Labor and Delivery unit
Assessment and reassessment of unit function
Acting as a liason for staff, physicians, and other departments
Being a resource for staff members, mentoring growth and providing feedback
Monitoring and adjusting shcedules in accordance with unit budget
Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual erformance reviews
