Description:
The primary responsibility of the Nurse Supervisor is to oversee and assist with the coordination of all services provided by Assisting Hands to ensure the Client’s safety and well-being. This position involves extensive communication with the Administrative staff, Caregivers, Clients, Referral Sources, and other Healthcare Personnel. Additional responsibilities involve assisting with the daily operations of the Agency such as scheduling, hiring, training of caregivers.
Qualifications:
Must have a current and active LPN or RN license in the state of Florida. Administrative and Supervisory experience in home health care is preferred. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Job Duties:
Completes on-site Supervisory visit of both Caregivers and Clients. Completes related documentation per agency policy. Assist with coordinating the safe delivery of client services and ensures that the services provided reflect upon the support the agency’s mission, vision and values. Assist with counseling, coaching and educating Caregivers and Clients. Assists with new Client Intakes and Caregiver Introductions Assists with Human Resources management and ensures that a qualified, competent staff are hired and retained by the agency at all times. Ensures that the services provided are appropriate, adequate and consistent with a Care Plan and assessed needs. Provides ongoing assessment of client needs.
