Job Description:

Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Lake City is seeking a qualified and compassionate Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to make a real impact on the lives of our residents by leading care delivery and guiding nursing staff on a busy skilled nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage staffing needs and provide daily supervision for nursing staff delivering direct resident care. Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants to ensure the highest standards of care. Assist with staff development and mentorship to build a skilled and compassionate care team. Provide hands-on resident care in line with individualized care plans. Perform and document comprehensive assessments of residents’ medical status upon admission and throughout their stay. Participate in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans. Assist in recruiting and hiring qualified nursing staff. Coordinate staff scheduling to ensure consistent and adequate coverage. Ensure compliance with documentation standards and regulatory requirements. Uphold residents’ rights and collaborate with families and staff to resolve concerns. Complete Preceptor Training and contribute to staff onboarding and education. Foster innovation in healthcare delivery and help lead a results-driven management team.

Requirements:

Active, unencumbered Florida RN or LPN license. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. At least 1 year of experience in a nursing leadership or administrative role. A strong commitment to providing exceptional resident care and supporting a team-focused environment. Why Join Us?
