Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Coordinate unit staffing andprovide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinicalobjectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

• Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing andsupport associates during assigned shifts.
• Meet with staff andexercise independent judgment to plan the shifts, services, andpatient care.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop anddistribute patient care assignments, ensuring that populationappropriate patient care is given and is accountable formaintaining productivity standards and justifying variances to unitmanager or designee.
• Respond to complaints about patient care andmanage through established channels.
• Facilitate availability ofadequate material, resources and supplies.
• Set prioritiesappropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics.
• Provide inputinto hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation ofstaff.

Requirements Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

• BLSProvider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or jobtransfer date required. American Heart Association or American RedCross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professionallicensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specificexperience required.
