Experience:
Required:
3-5 years in area of speciality (Women’s Services)
Preferred:
Specific Experience w/in 3-5 years speciality of 2 years labor and delivery experience and 1 year charge nurse in Labor and Delivery.

- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida
- BLS from the American Heart Association is required for all areas.
- ACLS from the American Heart Association is required at hire or transfer for those responsible for the following departments: Arrythmia Service (733210), Cardiac Holding Area (730501), Cardiology Interv North (733280), Code Blue Team (626003), CVICU (730400), Emergency Department (713200), Emergency Department Admin (710103), Emergency Department North (713280), FC Gastroenterology (703700), Float-ICU Flex (626000), Invasive Cardiology Lab (733200), MICU (700400), PACU (633600), Pain Management Center (750500), PICU (660401), Preop (633610), Surgery Center North (633480), and Trauma Center (713100).

- Effective January 1, 2015, all new hires or transfers must have a professional certification within two years of hire or transfer.
For certifications that require a specified number of cases or hours worked within the specialty, the certification must be applied for once the case/time requirement has been met, and the certification must be obtained within one year of the requirement having been met (e.g. oncology, chemotherapy, diabetes education).
