Responsibilities Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadershipwhile ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and qualitypatient care in assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

Assign, direct,educate and monitor nursing and support associates during assignedshifts. Meet with staff and exercise independent judgment to planthe shifts, services, and patient care. Assess daily patient careneeds and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuringthat population appropriate patient care is given and isaccountable for maintaining productivity standards and justifyingvariances to unit manager or designee. Respond to complaints aboutpatient care and manage through established channels. Facilitateavailability of adequate material, resources and supplies. Setpriorities appropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics. Provideinput into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluationof staff. Requirements Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or jobtransfer date required. American Heart Association or American RedCross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.

Education:

Required professionallicensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specificexperience required.
