We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead and support our clinical team.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor oversees and supports the clinical staff to ensure effective, ethical, and high-quality care delivery. This role provides mentorship, performance monitoring, and plays a key role in treatment planning, compliance, quality improvement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse in Florida with a strong background in home health and a commitment to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Oversight and Supervision:
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to clinical team members. Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations. Assist with case assignments, ensuring alignment with patient needs and care plans.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency policies, regulations, and ethical standards. Coordinate and lead the Agency’s Quality Improvement (QI) program and meetings. Conduct audits, track clinical metrics, and implement improvements.
Treatment and Care Coordination:
Assist clinicians in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Review and approve OASIS, Plan of Care (485), and diagnosis codes. Ensure coordination of nursing and clinical services across departments.
Training and Development:
Lead staff training sessions and support onboarding of new hires. Identify training needs through observation and performance review.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Participate in recruitment, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting. Serve as Acting Administrator when needed. Contribute to Professional Advisory Committee meetings and annual agency evaluation.
Communication and Collaboration:
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Address client and referral satisfaction concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Required:
Current RN or LPN license in the state of Florida.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years in healthcare, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in home health.. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficient with documentation systems and regulatory compliance requirements. Willing to participate in on-call rotation and occasional travel as needed.
Schedule:
Full-time (M-F), with flexibility for occasional after-hours and weekend responsibilities.
