$42.09 – $56.83 / hour Relocation amount $8500.00 Summary Functions in a full-time supervisor role, and reports directly to the SRC Clinical Director. Primarily oversees and develops the nursing staff and certified nursing assistants to reach the full potential of the staff. Performance of this work requires the SRC Nurse Manager to use considerable independence, initiative, and discretion. Responsible for coordinating patient care by directing nursing staff and certified nursing assistants within established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Has direct clinical oversight responsibilities for nursing staff and certified nursing assistants, including rounding on clinical staff; supervising completion of continuing education activities; evaluating department competencies; conducting employee performance evaluations; supervising staff adherence to policy and procedures; verbal counseling and coaching of nursing staff and certified nursing assistants; and, addressing patient safety and customer service related issues. Also responsible for other supervisory functions including reviewing and analyzing data for trends related to non-compliance; preparing and delivering corrective action to staff members; assisting with payroll duties and responsibilities as a time leader; participating as a leader in onboarding and staff retention initiatives; identifying opportunities for developing and revising policy and procedure; handling seasonal and year round contracts; and, resolution of safety incident reports. The SRC Nurse Manager is expected to consistently support Lee Healths vision and mission. The SRC Nurse Manager also supports Lean initiatives and promotes Lean processes throughout the system. This is an exempt position that requires on-call coverage and a flexible schedule. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Bachelor’s Nursing Required or Bachelor’s Healthcare Required Additional Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or 2 Years Nursing Required Nursing Leadership Preferred 1 year informal Nursing Leadership required. State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Registered Nurse License Required Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or Certification in Nursing Administration or appropriate specialty preferred.
