Position Summary:

The Charge Nurseassumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning andproviding direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, andappropriate others under the direct supervision of the NursingDirector for the unit. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members,directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide andfacilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with ManateeHealth policies and procedures, standards and philosophy.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties asassigned.
