Overview:
The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the home health department, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing a team of clinicians, coordinating patient services, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and supporting continuous improvement in care delivery. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or a related healthcare field; advanced clinical degrees preferred (MSN). Current RN licensure in the state of operation. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a home health setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and home health software. Strong knowledge of home health regulations and accreditation standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Oversee the clinical operations of the home health department, ensuring all services meet the highest standards of patient care. Supervise and support home health clinicians, providing guidance and performance feedback. Coordinate patient care plans with the nursing team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Participate in budget planning and financial management for home health services. Collaborate with case managers and billing departments to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement for home health services. Conduct regular clinical meetings to review patient cases, staff performance, and department goals. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care. Ensure that all clinical staff maintain current certifications and licensure. Ensure compliance with the organization’s Code of Conduct and all applicable laws, including HIPAA regulations for the protection of sensitive information. Perform any additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.
