Full-time RNs can earn up to $6,000 Sign-on Bonus. Summary Assigns staff according to policies and works to ensure equaldistribution of assigned duties. Supports teamwork and works to encourages staff to provide residentcare properly and in an acceptable time frame. Completes rounds to assess residents and resident care. Identifies and reports concerns and needs to appropriate staffmembers in a professional and timely manner. Receives report from assigned charge nurses in a timely manner andcompletes a shift report for the Director of Nursing. Appropriately manages staff and disciplines staff members asnecessary. When appropriate, assists employees in resolving unsatisfactoryperformance and behavior issues in a positive and constructivemanner, ensuring appropriate behaviors are explained and theexpected standard of performance is communicated. Empower staffmembers by promoting responsibility, accountability, and autonomyto enhance resident care. Ensures standards of patient care areutilized and delegates responsibilities as defined by policy ornecessary to ensure appropriate resident care. From resident assessment, reviews and revises the care plan needs,problems and goal changes with the Charge Nurses. Identifies necessary and appropriate nursing interventionspertinent to the plan of care. Implements and documents all resident/family teaching relevant tohealth care needs and ensures understanding of the teaching. Actively participates in the direct delivery of patient care. Answer residents call light and assists with resident ADL’s asneeded. Completes rounds to ensure that residents are receiving theappropriate nursing care in an appropriate time frame. Ensures that a safe, comfortable, clean environment ismaintained. Completes monthly QAPI, daily nursing labor forms forAdministration, and monitors pharmacy recommendations monthly. Attend Team Leader meetings twice per month and CNA meetingsmonthly. Maintains working knowledge of emergency procedures anddemonstrates awareness of safety issues relevant to patient andemployee safety. Handles crisis situations in a prompt, precise and professionalmanner. Coordinates activities and assignments throughout the facility toensure appropriate functioning of each neighborhood. Analyzes problems, offers recommendations, and initiates problemresolution in a professional and timely manner. Investigates employee concerns or incidents and takes theappropriate action. Communicates to the Director of Nursing action taken and seeksadvice in necessary situations. May be assigned other duties as appropriate. Job Qualifications Current RN license in the state you will be working Two years of long-term care supervisory experience preferred Three to five years of long-term care experience or similar nursingexperience Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with residents,visitors, and staff Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, and organize dailyschedule to meet productivity standards Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques andwith assistance as necessary Ability to transfer and move residents who vary with ability toassist weighing 200+lbs using proper lifting techniques and withassistance as necessary Ability to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 40lbsusing proper techniques and with assistance as necessary Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands whenworking with residents and equipment Ability to perform necessary documentation Visual acuity Must be able to manage a diversity of activities Pay range: $63,943 – $106,407 annually
